Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories.
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic images and lab findings.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement patient-centered surgical treatment plans.
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including prepping operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Deliver excellent pre- and post-operative care such as medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility for licensure.
