Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology
Day Shift - Monday - Friday (6:30 - 5p) - No weekend - No Call Required
We have been engaged by one of our clients to recruit an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse. If you are hard-working, confident, and comfortable working in an acute care setting, this is the job for you. Hypercompetitive compensation packages are offered.
What you will do:
Assists physicians during electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, radiofrequency ablation, and other miscellaneous procedures required by operating the electrophysiology recorder, hemodynamic monitoring computer, and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
What you will need:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or compact license
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certification or previous electrophysiology experience
- Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS Allied Health)
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- RECS, RCIS, or IBHRE certification required within 2 years
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in an electrophysiology lab or 2 years experience in an Interventional Cath Lab.
