Your Responsibilities Include

• Executing thorough patient assessments, conducting physical exams and reviewing comprehensive medical histories
• Assisting in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through detailed examination of lab results and imaging studies
• Working hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Providing intraoperative assistance, from preparing operating rooms to managing patient positioning and passing instruments with deftness
• Ensuring outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and thorough patient education

Education

• A Master’s degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program is required
• Clinical rotations with surgical focus are highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
