Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interventional Radiologic Technologist (Interventional Rad Tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist interventional radiologists in performing minimally invasive procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, biopsies, and drainages.
  • Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment and instruments.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring optimal imaging and patient comfort.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing support and care to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with the interventional radiology team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
  • Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
  • Strong technical skills in interventional radiology procedures and equipment operation.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
