Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our imaging department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing computed tomography (CT) scans, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and optimal imaging results.
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT required.
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
