Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Emergency Room Services to lead and manage our emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine, as well as leadership and management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the emergency department, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and treatment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in emergency medicine.
• Develop and manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure optimal operational and financial performance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and medical staff to promote a culture of excellence in patient care.
• Collaborate with other departments, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy, to ensure seamless and efficient patient care.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, including emergency preparedness planning and response.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare management, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certification required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive leadership and management experience in an emergency department or similar acute care setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, best practices, and emerging trends in emergency medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
