LEAD MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST - HEMATOLOGY

**Full-Time - Day Shift**

MLee Healthcare recruiting is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Medical Lab Scientist join a local hospital team in Delaware. The Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist supports the Laboratory Section Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager in managing assigned section(s) by ensuring proper day-to-day operations of the laboratory discipline(s) and acting as a problem-solving resource. They are flexible in responding to changes in workload and can make real-time adjustments to work assignments in the absence of the supervisor. The Lead is responsible for ensuring that the laboratory operates efficiently and cost-effectively, following laboratory and hospital policies and procedures for appropriate and timely specimen handling, delivery, testing, results reporting, and customer service. The Lead collaborates independently with the Laboratory Section Supervisor or Laboratory Manager and/or Outpatient Service Center Manager (if applicable). In the absence of a supervisor, the Lead may serve as the acting supervisor and perform all the duties of the supervisor.
