Registered Nurse Hemodialysis Position Summary:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with ANA Standards and the Nursing Process.
• Serve as a patient advocate, providing support, information, and direct care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing medical equipment and technology while maintaining technical competency in nursing procedures.
• Educate patients and families on essential self-care practices.
• May be required to manage inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications for seamless patient care.

Registered Nurse Hemodialysis Position Requirements:

• Hold a valid license and be currently registered as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or Delaware.
• Minimum of three years of dialysis experience, including two years in a chronic setting and one year in an acute setting. CNN certification preferred.
• Critical care experience may substitute for acute dialysis experience.

Registered Nurse Hemodialysis Work Schedule:

• Assigned shifts may include day, evening, or night rotations as per departmental policy.
• Guaranteed a minimum of three holidays off per year.
• Weekend shifts required based on unit needs.
• Occasional overtime work may be necessary.
