Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated ER RNs to provide compassionate nursing care for emergency and trauma patients. Our ED plays a pivotal role in our hospital’s Stroke, AMI, and trauma programs, with specialized areas for adult and pediatric mental health evaluations. As an ED RN, you will develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with ANA Standards and the nursing process. Serving as a patient advocate, you will provide support, information, and direct care while proficiently utilizing equipment and technology. Educating patients and families on self-care is an integral part of this role, along with managing medication inventory and distribution.
Position Requirements:
- Must be licensed and currently registered as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- PALS and ACLS certifications required within 6 months of hire.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling including day, evening, or night shifts per departmental policy.
- Enjoy at least three holidays off per year.
- Weekend shifts required based on unit needs.
- Occasional overtime may be necessary.
