MLee Healthcare is in search of a proficient and empathetic MRI Technologist to become part of our client's committed MRI team located in Southwest Connecticut, close to the New York border. The respected community healthcare center prioritizes teamwork and eagerly anticipates the integration of a new technologist into their harmonious and supportive group.
Schedule:
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 9am - 10pm
- 45-minute breaks
- Rotating Holidays
Key Responsibilities for an MRI Technologist:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Review and follow physician orders for imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
- Ensure MRI equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Qualifications for an MRI Technologist:
- ARRT(R)(MR) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
- Valid Connecticut state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Experience with GE Scanners preferred (not required).
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
