ARDMS Ultrasound Technician - Full Time

MLR is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with precision and care.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.
Qualifications for a Sonographer:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
- 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician (preferred, not required).
- Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
