Bring Care Into Focus – A Sonography Opportunity Along Connecticut’s Waterfront
There’s a quiet rhythm to life along Long Island Sound—the early morning shimmer on the water, the mix of families walking to school, commuters catching the train, and locals sipping coffee on downtown patios. That’s Sandy Hook. A coastal New York suburb with just enough city pulse, just enough shoreline calm, and the kind of community where you can build something steady—at work and at home. If you’re a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist ready to make a difference in a setting that blends coast and commute, we’d love to have you on our team.
This is a full-time opportunity with flexible shifts and a signing bonus to welcome you aboard. You’ll be part of a mission-driven care team where your expertise helps bring clarity and reassurance to patients every day. Whether you’re performing abdominal scans, vascular studies, OB/GYN, echocardiography, or small parts imaging, your work will be central to care planning—and deeply appreciated by patients and providers alike. You’ll help capture the answers that others rely on to move forward.
We’re looking for someone who holds an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, with certification from ARDMS or ARRT-S, and any applicable state licensure. You should have at least one year of hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, confidence in operating ultrasound technology and software, and a genuine ease with patients. If you’re someone who brings both precision and warmth into the room—who knows how to get the image and put someone at ease—we’d be thrilled to have you here. Flexibility to cover occasional weekend or on-call shifts is a plus, and we support continued learning and growth at every stage of your career.
What makes this role especially unique is the setting. Sandy Hook gives you the best of both worlds—direct waterfront access, walkable neighborhoods, and excellent schools, all within a short train ride to Manhattan. Spend your mornings scanning beneath hospital lights, and your evenings by the marina or enjoying one of the local restaurants that line the shoreline. It’s a place where work doesn’t consume your life—it just fits into it.
You’ll be joining a team that values collaboration, compassion, and curiosity. A place where sonographers aren’t just part of the process—they’re a vital part of the patient journey. And in return, we make sure you’re supported, respected, and empowered to keep growing.
If you're looking for a career that feels as balanced as the community around it, this may be your moment. Come bring your skills to a team that’s as grounded in care as it is in connection—where the work is meaningful, and the setting feels like home.
