ASCP Medical Tech - Microbiology ( MT / MLS)
Shift:
- Full-Time / 40 Hours / Day Shift / M-F 7a - 3:30p
MLR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Coordinator MT/MLS (ASCP) - Microbiology to join our client's laboratory team. In this role, you will oversee technical operations within the Microbiology department, guide staff development through continuous training, and provide leadership support. Responsibilities include performing bench work, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, participating in inspections, and collaborating with clinical staff to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
Med Tech Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), or M(ASCP) certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Microbiology required.
- Previous laboratory leadership experience required.
- ASCP specialist certification in Microbiology preferred.
- Experience with MALDI implementation and validation preferred.
