MLR is searching for a committed and empathetic MRI Technologist to become part of our team at a well-established healthcare facility in South Connecticut, near New Haven. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work with advanced technology, alongside a skilled team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Review and follow physician orders for imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
- Ensure MRI equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Qualifications:
- ARRT(R)(MR) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
- Valid Connecticut state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Experience with GE Scanners preferred (not required).
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
