Anesthesia Technician

Position Summary:

From setting up and maintaining state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment to assisting with patient preparation, you will be at the heart of every successful procedure.
Your role goes beyond the technical—you’ll collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and a highly skilled medical team to ensure the safe and seamless administration of anesthesia. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations
- Prepare and check anesthesia equipment before use
- Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including monitoring vital signs and preparing the operating room
- Assist with the administration of anesthesia according to the instructions of the anesthesiologist
- Monitor patient during and after surgery for adverse reactions to anesthesia
- Assist with the maintenance of anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and sterilization
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia activities and patient record
Qualifications:
- Licensure / Certification:
- Basic Life Support certification (May be obtained upon hire).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Anesthesia Tech experience (3+ years preferred).
