What the work involves:

• We are recruiting for a mission-driven Psychiatry Forensic APP- Correctional Care to join our team!

• Evaluates emotional components, the impact of health related issues and assists clients to identify and meet treatment goals.
• Orders initial and/or routine laboratory tests and follow-up on results, orders additional tests or initiates referral appointments with specialized caregivers.
• Initiates a unique, outcome focused plan of care based on current nursing practice with measurable outcomes and goals for the patient/family.
• Anticipates and identifies issues and initiates resolutions for the corrections mental health patient population.
