What You’ll Do

  • Conduct a Wide Range of Ultrasound Exams
    Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, musculoskeletal, and other specialized studies, with precision and care.
  • Operate and Maintain Imaging Equipment
    Use advanced ultrasound machines and software, ensuring image clarity and accuracy through proper operation and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure a Safe and Comfortable Experience for Patients
    Position patients properly, explain procedures thoroughly, and create a calm, supportive environment during exams.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Providers
    Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
  • Document and Report with Accuracy
    Maintain detailed and compliant records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring information is up to date and secure.
  • Educate and Communicate with Patients
    Provide clear instructions and explanations to help patients feel informed and at ease throughout their exam.
  • Follow Regulatory and Safety Guidelines
    Maintain adherence to HIPAA, AIUM, and internal protocols to ensure patient privacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Support Equipment Functionality
    Perform daily machine checks and report technical issues to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality imaging services.
  • Stay Current in Your Field
    Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed on new ultrasound techniques and industry standards.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related imaging field

Certification & Licensure:

  • Certification through ARDMS or ARRT (S)
  • Colorado state licensure, if required

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical sonography experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound principles
  • Proficient with ultrasound systems and related software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Availability for varied shifts, including weekends or on-call as needed
