Operating Room Registered Nurse Opportunity

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join a growing healthcare team near Colorado Springs, CO!  This is an excellent opportunity to work in an established medical facility, focusing on delivering high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in an acute setting.

OR Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to deliver efficient and effective care.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, ensuring sterility and readiness.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as directed by physicians.
• Document patient care and progress according to hospital protocols.

Operating Room RN Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an OR setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety.
