Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our team of imaging professionals committed to delivering outstanding care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and offer comfort and reassurance through precise imaging.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while providing clear, compassionate explanations
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Manage and keep imaging equipment in optimal condition, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records in our electronic medical system
• Continuously update your knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent
• Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
