Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed physical examinations and medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and lab data
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical care plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during surgeries
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care by managing medication, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
