Assistant Nurse Manager – OR/PACU Opportunity

MLR is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to support the OR/PACU team in a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role This role is ideal for a nurse with leadership experience who is committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care in a surgical setting.
Pay Range: $176,920 → $267,232 per year
Key Responsibilities for Assistant Nurse Manager – OR/PACU:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily clinical operations in the OR/PACU, including staffing, budgeting, payroll, and quality improvement to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
- Staff Development: Lead staff training initiatives, implement action plans to support growth, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Resource Allocation: Manage personnel allocation to match patient needs, promoting patient care excellence and cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Quality & Risk Management: Supervise unit safety programs, monitor service quality, and address patient and family concerns to ensure optimal care standards.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with healthcare providers from other departments to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
Qualifications for Assistant Nurse Manager – OR/PACU:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role (e.g., charge nurse, preceptor, quality improvement champion)
- Active California RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
