Location: Santa Rosa, California

 

A well-established healthcare provider in Santa Rosa, California is seeking a full-time X-Ray/CT Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team. This role offers a balanced day-shift schedule and the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment in the heart of Sonoma County.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality X-ray and CT procedures according to established protocols
  • Administer contrast media as prescribed, monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Assist physicians during interventional or contrast-enhanced studies, maintaining sterile technique
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, adhering to infection control guidelines
  • Perform routine equipment checks and quality control procedures to ensure proper function
  • Support other team functions such as front desk reception or clerical tasks as needed
  • Report and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions; submit service requests when necessary

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
  • California Fluoroscopy certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Venipuncture certification or equivalent (may obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience in radiography; must be able to independently perform CT within 6 months
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety
