ARRT - Radiation Therapist Opportunity

Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role, ideal for a certified professional committed to providing exceptional patient care in a radiation therapy setting.  

Salary: $77.88 – $89.13 / hr 

Key Responsibilities for Radiation Therapist:

• Patient Treatment: Operate all radiation therapy equipment, including CT/SIM, linear accelerators, and high-dose rate after loading machines, as per physician prescriptions.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Patient Instruction: Provide clear and compassionate instruction to patients regarding treatment processes and expectations. Maintain treatment records and schedule patient treatments accordingly.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the radiation therapy team to ensure optimal care for patients, maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills. Offer outstanding customer service.

Qualifications for Radiation Therapist:

• Certifications: Current CRT/ARRT Certification, Radiologic Technologist Certification in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology (California). California Fluoroscopy license required in areas where fluoroscopy is performed.
• Experience: No previous experience required, but one year of relevant radiation therapy experience is preferred.
• BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
