Your Daily Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, incorporating physical exams and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through lab results and imaging studies interpretation
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential in-surgery support — prepping the operating environment, ensuring proper patient positioning, and proficiently transferring surgical instruments
• Deliver top-notch pre-and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master’s degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Prior clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices are highly desirable

Required Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Must have or be eligible for state licensure as a Physician Assistant
