Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill neonates in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, administer medications, and utilize advanced medical equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate and support families throughout their NICU journey, offering guidance and reassurance during challenging times.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid California RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Level III NICU setting.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in neonatal assessment and intervention.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
