Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities, setting clear and achievable treatment goals.
  • Personalized Treatment Planning: Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Therapy & Counseling: Deliver targeted interventions to improve voice, fluency, and communication skills, while providing essential support to patients and their families.
  • Collaboration & Training: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, and train family members or caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Innovation & Research: Stay engaged in ongoing research to refine and discover new methods for treatment.

Qualifications: 

  • Education: 
    • Education: Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Licensure/Certification: Current CA Speech-Language Pathology License.
    • Skills:
      • Strong ability to assess and develop comprehensive care plans.
      • Thorough knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and Medicare documentation standards.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
