Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while offering clear and compassionate explanations
• Engage deeply with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure optimal diagnostic imaging quality
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Remain updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
