MLR is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Bakersfield, California! The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing, administering, and monitoring radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating specialized imaging equipment. They ensure safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and themselves. This role requires collaboration with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver quality diagnostic results.
Nuclear Med Tech Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging or treatment.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic results.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Completion of two-year ARRT nuclear medicine program or equivalent
- ARRT or NMTCB certification required
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist California license required
- Experience in clinical nuclear medicine technology preferred.
- Expertise training needed in dealing with age-specific populations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and maintained.
