Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities, setting clear and achievable treatment goals.
- Personalized Treatment Planning: Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Therapy & Counseling: Deliver targeted interventions to improve voice, fluency, and communication skills, while providing essential support to patients and their families.
- Collaboration & Training: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, and train family members or caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
- Innovation & Research: Stay engaged in ongoing research to refine and discover new methods for treatment.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Education: Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure/Certification: Current CA Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Skills:
- Strong ability to assess and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and Medicare documentation standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
