Registered Nurse - Primary Care Clinic Registered Nurse

 

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Clinical Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team near Los Angeles County. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, collaborating closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a primary care setting, including assessments, screenings, and patient education.
  • Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans based on individual needs and conditions.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Educate patients and families about managing chronic conditions and maintaining overall health.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Monitor and track patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of primary care nursing practices and patient care management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in underserved communities or diverse patient populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
