Description – What You’ll Do

• Conduct standard and advanced clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, rectify any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document procedures, guide new staff or students, and assist in maintaining the quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a safe, organized work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification by ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure with us.
