Position Overview:

MLR.org is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our client’s diverse and collaborative healthcare team. In this key position, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for patients of all ages. Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Evaluation: Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop tailored treatment goals.
  • Individualized Treatment: Create and implement personalized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders caused by injury, illness, or other factors.
  • Patient Education: Help clients enhance their voice, fluency, and communication skills, fostering improvements in vocabulary and sentence structure.
  • Supportive Counseling: Provide guidance and emotional support to patients and their families as they navigate communication challenges.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and train family members or caregivers to ensure holistic patient support.
  • Innovative Research: Stay at the forefront of your field by developing and applying new treatment techniques.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current California Speech-Language Pathology License.
