Position Overview:
MLR.org is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our client’s multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, providing care to patients across the lifespan.
As an SLP, you will create and implement personalized treatment plans, deliver therapy sessions, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care. The ideal candidate will excel in both in-person and teletherapy services, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide in-person and teletherapy sessions.
- Track and document patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on managing conditions and therapy.
- Perform swallowing evaluations and screenings.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and standards.
- Supervise assistants and interns as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Masters Degree or higher.
- Licensure / Certification:
- Current CA Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Skills:
- Ability to assess patient and family needs, and to also develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards/requirements.
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards.
- Recommended affiliation with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
