We are looking for an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. In this essential role, you will assist in preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team during various procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to successful surgeries and positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and ready for use
• Maintain a sterile field during surgery and assist the surgical team by passing instruments and materials
• Perform accurate surgical counts before, during, and after the procedure to ensure all instruments are accounted for
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping the surgical area
• Clean and restock the operating room after surgeries
• Follow hospital infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
• Document surgical counts and patient information as required
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stay focused and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
