In this role, you’ll work with a diverse range of patients, helping them regain independence and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapy plans. You will take the lead in patient care by conducting comprehensive assessments, designing tailored treatment strategies, and delivering evidence-based interventions that meet each individual’s unique needs.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists—you will help ensure a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, all within a supportive environment that fosters your professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Review and assess patient information, and conduct functional assessments.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care plans with patient and family input.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Administer therapy per physician orders and document progress.
- Productivity: Meet targets, managing 9-12 patient visits daily.
- Supervision: Train and supervise Rehabilitation Technicians in treatment procedures.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians, patients, and hospital staff on patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on procedures, risks, and home care programs.
- Continuum of Care: Ensure smooth transitions for post-discharge rehabilitation.
- Departmental Participation: Attend meetings and contribute to quality improvement.
- Supervision & Education: Supervise students and pursue continuing education.
- Compliance: Follow all regulatory and professional standards.
- Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure / Certification:
- Current CA Occupational Therapist License
- Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
