Your Role as a CT Technologist:

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures that assist in accurate medical diagnoses and patient treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT Scans: Capture cross-sectional images of patients’ anatomy using advanced CT imaging systems.
  • Patient Communication: Explain procedures, provide emotional support, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with radiologists and physicians to provide timely and accurate diagnostic images.
  • Equipment Oversight: Maintain and operate CT scanners and follow all maintenance and quality assurance protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment usage.
  • Radiation Safety: Adhere to ALARA principles and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • ARRT certification in Radiography required.
    • ARRT (CT) certification preferred or required within a defined time frame.
    • California Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a CT Tech preferred, though new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Excellent patient interaction, strong attention to detail, and technical proficiency with CT equipment.
  • Other: Current BLS certification.
