Your Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Imaging: Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, retroperitoneal, and vascular scans with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborative Procedures: Assist physicians during specialized procedures such as needle biopsies and amniocentesis, providing expert scanning and patient care.
- Tailored Techniques: Customize imaging techniques to suit individual patient needs, ensuring the most accurate diagnostic results.
- Patient Care: Ensure the safety, comfort, and proper positioning of patients, delivering compassionate care for individuals of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
- Technical Expertise: Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to clinical protocols, maintaining equipment in optimal condition.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient data and maintain thorough documentation for all procedures.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety, environmental, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Sonography training program.
- Licensure: Active registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Certification: Current CPR certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years performing abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, and echocardiogram procedures.
