Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Ultrasound Imaging: Perform a wide variety of ultrasound procedures with precision, including abdominal, OB/GYN, retroperitoneal, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Collaborative Procedure Support: Assist physicians during specialized procedures such as needle biopsies and amniocentesis, ensuring accurate scanning and patient care throughout the process.
- Tailored Imaging Techniques: Customize imaging techniques based on individual patient needs to achieve the most accurate diagnostic results possible.
- Exceptional Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and safety while properly positioning them for procedures.
- Technical Expertise: Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment according to clinical protocols, ensuring optimal functionality at all times.
- Accurate Documentation: Record patient data and maintain thorough documentation of all procedures performed, adhering to organizational standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality imaging environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Sonography training program.
- Licensure: Active registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Certification: Current CPR certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, and echocardiogram scans.
- Skills: Strong technical abilities with ultrasound equipment, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams.
