MLee Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Manager to join our pharmacy team. As the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee all aspects of pharmaceutical services within our inpatient facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

 

Qualifications for an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Active pharmacy license in the state of Arizona.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational and clinical excellence in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities for an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the inpatient pharmacy department.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize pharmaceutical services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Oversee medication management, distribution, and inventory control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor pharmacy performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic planning and budget management for the pharmacy department.

Requirements for an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager:

  • Completes annual educational requirements.
  • Wears identification while on duty.
  • Attends P&T, CQI, Management, and other committee meetings as appropriate.
  • Understands JCAHO, State and Federal regulations, and contemporary hospital pharmacy practice.
