Key Responsibilities: 

  • Medication Management: Review and manage patient medication plans, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.
  • Clinical Consultations: Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on medication therapies, including dosing, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Medication Reconciliation: Conduct thorough medication reviews during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to prevent errors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving medication safety and patient outcomes.

Qualifications: 

  • 1 or more years of Clinical Pharmacist experience is required. 
  • PharmD or RPh from an accredited school.
  • Current and valid license to practice.
  • Understanding of DEA and FDA health regulations.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented person of upstanding integrity.
  • Be able to handle a large workload while still working efficiently and accurately.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Personable and well-spoken with great customer service.
