Key Responsibilities:
- CT Imaging: Perform a variety of CT procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and treatment planning scans, ensuring high-quality results.
- Patient Care: Safely position patients, prioritize comfort, and provide excellent care throughout the imaging process.
- CT-Guided Procedures: Assist physicians during specialized procedures like needle biopsies and amniocentesis, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Efficient Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments for seamless exam flow, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
- Radiography: If licensed, conduct radiographic exams as needed, providing additional imaging support.
- Equipment Operation & Calibration: Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
- Safety Compliance: Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment performance for patient care continuity.
- Contrast Media: Safely prepare and administer contrast agents according to clinical guidelines.
- Age-Appropriate Care: Provide compassionate care for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.
- Exemplary Service: Deliver prompt, courteous service while maintaining patient confidentiality and promoting a positive experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program from an accredited school.
- Licensure: ARRT certification and State of Arizona Radiologic Technologist license are required.
- Certification: Current CPR certification is mandatory.
