PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant
MLR is working with a local health system to fill a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position for a full-time, permanent role in Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing therapy treatments to patients, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Implement treatment plans as directed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility regulations.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises to continue at home and proper body mechanics.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Valid Arkansas state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Physical Thereapy Assistants need to have the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
