As a licensed Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in their recovery journey. Working alongside our esteemed therapy director, you will provide personalized care in a one-on-one environment. From acute care settings to critical access hospitals and outpatient facilities, you will ensure a safe and seamless continuum of care for patients post-discharge.
Responsibilities:
- Personalized Patient Care: Provide comprehensive evaluation, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver physical therapy services to patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds within the Baton Rouge community.
- Direct Patient Interaction: Work closely with patients and their families, establishing strong therapeutic relationships and ensuring clear communication to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nurses, to develop integrated care plans and promote holistic patient wellness.
- Acute Care and Outpatient Services: Offer your expertise in a variety of settings, including acute care facilities, outpatient clinics, and rehabilitation centers, to address a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
- Continuous Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and research to continually enhance your skills and provide the best possible care.
Qualifications:
- Arkansas Licensure: Must possess a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arkansas.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Clinical Experience: Previous experience in physical therapy is desirable, but new graduates are welcome to apply as well.
- Compassion and Empathy: Display a genuine commitment to patient care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding in all interactions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
