  • Process proficiency samples, uphold confidentiality, and document critical values meticulously.
  • Participate actively in competency assessments and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain certification and engage in educational opportunities and team meetings.
  • Potentially train new team members or students.
  • Utilize technology and LIS systems adeptly to streamline processes.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and diverse staff members.
  • Uphold our Medical Center's mission with dedication and reliability.
  • Fulfill additional duties as required to support our dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements:

  • Registered MLT/MT with current credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT or equivalent), or eligibility within six months.
  • Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results accurately.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to accommodate and understand the needs of patients across different age groups.
  • Familiarity with laboratory protocols and procedures.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently within established guidelines.
