Qualifications:

  • - Registered MLT/MT with valid credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT or equivalent) or eligible within six (6) months.
  • - Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results.
  • - Effective communication skills with patients, medical staff, and customers.
  • - Capable of catering to patients of all ages and understanding their needs and limitations.
  • - Familiarity with laboratory policies and procedures.
  • - Self-motivated with the ability to work within set guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various laboratory tests, such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, providing expertise and insights to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical technology and contribute to process improvements.
