Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. You will utilize your knowledge of laboratory procedures, expertise in the use of laboratory equipment, and analytical skills to deliver high-quality laboratory services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, microbiology, and clinical chemistry, using laboratory equipment and technology.
  • Conduct quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, preparing reports and documentation to communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including safety regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and laboratory equipment.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
