ARRT - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform nuclear medicine procedures, provide excellent patient care, and contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required, adhering to strict protocols
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring its proper functionality
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities as directed
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

• Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) with a nuclear medicine specialization
• State licensure in Alabama as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
