Lead X-Ray Technologist – ARRT Certified  

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This role requires a dynamic professional with at least five (5) years of leadership experience in radiology and a strong background in X-ray technology. The Lead X-Ray Technologist will oversee daily operations, ensure quality imaging services, and support the radiology team in delivering top-tier patient care. 

 

Pay: $67,094 - $75,909 
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the X-ray department to ensure efficient workflow. 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to radiologic technologists. 
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational imaging regulations and safety protocols. 
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality. 
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. 
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control processes. 
  • Monitor and improve department performance through process evaluations and implementation of best practices. 
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and productivity to align with operational needs. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of medical records. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in an X-ray or radiology department. 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. 
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. 
  • South Carolina state radiologic technologist licensure (or eligibility to obtain before hire). 
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, techniques, and safety standards. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
