Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team in North Alabama. This role, under the guidance of the Radiology Director and a radiologist, plays a crucial part in providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in radiological procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis under the direction of the Radiology Director and radiologist.
• Operate CT/X-Ray equipment proficiently to produce high-quality images and radiographs of specified body parts.
• Maintain flexibility for emergency on-call procedures as needed and outlined by the department.
• Prioritize the assessment and management of patient pain, employing strategies to minimize discomfort during procedures.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

• Education/Licensure: Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training program; eligibility for ARRT registry is mandatory. CT registry is preferred.
• Experience: While no prior experience is required, any relevant experience will be considered favorably.
• Additional Skills/Abilities: Current BLS certification before the conclusion of the orientation period is essential. Excellent communication skills are a must, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing shifting priorities and tasks.
