ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist
MLR is partnering with a respected regional hospital to fill a full-time, permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist position. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join a collaborative healthcare team, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and radioactive isotopes to assist in accurate medical diagnoses and deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Identification & Preparation: Verify patient information, ensuring all pre-procedure documentation is accurate and complete.
- Radioactive Materials Administration: Prepare and administer radioactive materials, including IV injections, for various nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and adjust nuclear medicine equipment, selecting appropriate settings to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Patient Positioning: Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results, utilizing technical expertise to ensure precise images.
- Radiation Safety: Adhere to strict radiation protection protocols to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and yourself.
- Image Evaluation: Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality and ensure proper identification before submitting to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program is preferred.
- Certification: ARRT or CNMT certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in PACS/EMR systems and strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and PET exams.
